The Portal references delighted me, including the voice and humor—brilliantly executed. Unfortunately, I encountered the weakest game mastering so far across my 370 rooms: after a strong start we got stuck, hints didn’t help, and in the end it turned out that a malfunction had boxes blocked and the GM didn’t notice. It was only explained later by a different GM; we still paid full price. The room

Went with friends in Hamburg and had a lot of fun; a perfect activity for rainy weather. In the Illuminati room, you chase the trail of the alleged papal assassins. Our game master Elwira gave great hints and kept us motivated with humor — it wouldn’t have been as good without her. Small tip: pop to the restroom before the start; the door stays closed until the puzzle is solved!

I know many mobile escape games, but solving this one live was something completely different—and brilliantly executed. A thrilling case with lots of details and a coherent atmosphere; the 60 minutes flew by. There are occasional hints so you don’t get stuck. We were a group of three—the perfect size because everyone could contribute. The team was super friendly—we’ll definitely be back.

I played the room before I was employed there and I'm trying to stay neutral: gripping story, beautiful set, still impressive for 2016. The puzzles are mostly locks and mechanisms, but it was still fun. No horror; doable with two, optimal with three or four. Hints came at just the right time, the GM was excellent, plus some nice fun facts and an unusual intro.

Wonderfully and fittingly designed; the puzzles are clever and often require thinking outside the box. The game master was super friendly, the hints were well-balanced, and afterwards there were explanations about special features and the decor. You can even warm up with small brainteasers in the waiting area.

For my first visit, I was totally thrilled: lovingly designed rooms with a great atmosphere, a super friendly team guiding you through the game, challenging but fair puzzles—the time just flew by. I’m already looking forward to next time!

Well-crafted room; the puzzles are rather easy, but there aren’t any combination locks at all. The set is solid and you can feel the creators’ passion. The ending came abruptly, and the story felt a bit confusing from the start. Despite a long searching segment, we finished in 34 minutes — too quick for us, but great for beginners. Game master Julia was great and told the story coherently.

We were only in Hamburg for the weekend, and as Jigsaw fans it had to be the horror room. Our game master Lena was fantastic—totally convincing and perfectly matched to the mood. The room is excellently designed, with lots of nods to the movies; we got startled multiple times. We made it out with just under two minutes to spare—what a finale! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in Hamburg.
