The Portal references delighted me, including the voice and humor—brilliantly executed. Unfortunately, I encountered the weakest game mastering so far across my 370 rooms: after a strong start we got stuck, hints didn’t help, and in the end it turned out that a malfunction had boxes blocked and the GM didn’t notice. Mega experience! We played “They Stole a Million” as a pair; it was tough but doable. We didn’t quite make it, but we were very close. The team was extremely attentive and helped as soon as we got stuck, and everything was available in English. Absolutely worth it, also as a bad-weather activity in Hamburg.

We played Secret Service with two children. It’s not the typical “Can we get out in 60 minutes?” but rather a mission where you unmask a traitor using classic puzzles. Challenging but very doable with two adults and two young teens. The staff were very friendly and helped when needed. The new room, Space Escape, is supposed to be ready in two weeks; the quick peek inside looked spectacular.

Super heist vibe from the very first minute. We played it head-to-head and the tension was great, plus very fair puzzles and zero downtime. The hints came exactly when we needed them. An absolute recommendation for groups.

We played Countdown to Meltdown and had a really great time. The final player count was flexible; thanks to Isabel as a fantastic GM—her colleague was also super motivated. The theme is excellent; sometimes the sound was very loud, presumably as a stress factor. I’d come back in a heartbeat, and next time I’ll dress lighter, because with seven people it gets warm.

Star Trek vibe from minute one! The cockpit controls are awesome and the team puzzles interlock nicely. Perfect with three; with four it would have felt too cramped for me.

We had actually booked Secret Services, but the game masters said that with 60+ rooms played, Space Escape would be the better choice—and they were right. You start the engine, take off, and destroy the asteroid; lots of buttons and a puzzle that creates a genuine flight feeling. Great fun, but the room is very small, so it’s not really suited for more than three people.

The three of us took on Space Escape and made it to the finish with just two mini hints. The set and atmosphere are spot on, and the puzzles are refreshingly different and cleverly designed. The team was super friendly; we felt completely at ease and will definitely come back for other rooms.

Perfect for a family afternoon in Berlin. Not scary, lots of humor, and the kids could really join in solving the puzzles. The game master was attentive and friendly.

Great team, good story, but the hints came too quickly for us, so we were done in 48 minutes. Next time I'd like more time to puzzle without nudges.
