Overview of artificial intelligence

AIThe on-board location and the captain’s cabin setting are especially well received, as is the friendly team. Puzzles skew easy to medium, are numerous and very lock-heavy, making collaboration important. Great for beginners and families; experienced players find it coherent but not the most spectacular experience. Noticeable time pressure builds toward the end.
WeaknessesMany combination and padlocks, little tech, plus several boxes at the start—may feel old-school to some. Compared to other rooms by the provider, at times less impressive. Inexperienced teams may stumble due to the number of tasks.
StrengthsAuthentic vibe on a historic ship, thematically coherent tasks. Very friendly hosting. Teamwork makes the difference here and creates flow.
SecurityYou play in a cordoned-off museum area on board; the area is screened for your group during the game. Standard briefing and supervision provide a sense of safety.
Level of fearNot scary; more adventurous and family-friendly. Teens from around 13 should do fine.
Actors' gameNo reports of live acting; interaction is limited to briefing and hints. Staff are described as very friendly and helpful.
Quality of riddlesMaritime-themed, fair, and logical tasks around seafaring and the ship. Clear focus on codes and locks; tech gimmicks are rare. There is variety, but the dominance of locks stands out.
PlotPirates have taken over the ship; you’re trapped in the captain’s cabin and the clock is ticking. Find clues, interpret them correctly, and save the RICKMER RICKMERS before she sinks.
Difficulty levelOverall easy to medium with many smaller tasks. For veterans rather relaxed; newcomers should keep an eye on the time.

It was really great and a lot of fun. Not too hard, even though it got close at the end; there were four of us, including two 13-year-olds, and everyone could join in. Clear recommendation—I want to try the other rooms as well.

Great setting in a real captain’s cabin—you can practically smell the sea air. The puzzles are logical and manageable, yet there’s enough to keep everyone engaged. Super friendly team; we had a full hour of fun.

Solid room with a nice ship atmosphere, but far too many padlocks. I missed a few technical aha moments. Still cohesive overall, and it ended in a nice close finish.
