WeaknessesFor pros partly too easy and with elements known from other rooms of the provider. Once the story was partly played in the wrong language; the finale photo felt unspectacular to some.
StrengthsGorgeous set design with lots of detail and a clear adventure flow. Plenty of space and surprising moments, bonus puzzles included. Friendly team and a cohesive Indiana Jones look-and-feel.
SecurityThere are crawling, climbing, and sliding sections; the builds feel solid, and a bit of agility helps. It all takes place aboard the Cap San Diego, with clearly guided routes.
Level of fearNot scary, more adventure-spooky, especially outside museum hours. Kids and families should cope fine as long as everyone can handle the physical sections.
Actors' gameNo live actors; interaction runs via the gamemaster. The team is considered very helpful; once there was an error with the German narration track.
Quality of riddlesLogical, fair, and varied, with a strong focus on manual tasks and group rituals. Bonus tasks tease the ambitious; occasionally already used parts are needed again. For frequent players there’s little truly new, but it’s cleanly implemented and smooth in flow.
PlotYou sneak into an abandoned excavation in South America at night and stumble onto the trail of the golden skull. One discovery flips everything and sets an adventurous puzzle run in motion, without going into spoilers.
Difficulty levelRather easy to medium and ideal for 2–3 people or beginners. Large or very experienced groups may breeze through but will still have fun.
