Warm welcome with a video briefing, plus an extremely friendly Philipp. Two actor scenes and roughly 90 minutes in total that flew by thanks to Lukas’s live performance. Breathtaking setting, perfectly timed lighting and sound, subtle hints through a South American animal, and lots of teamwork—we hardly needed any help and had a great time.

I really liked the room. Creative yet simple puzzles without much tech, an engaged gamemaster, and an immersive atmosphere. This is exactly how I imagine a good, classic escape room: coherent decor, fitting music, and a GM who brings the fun—including a few well-executed jump scares. Overall, very well-rounded.

I’m easily startled and was really nervous beforehand, but the room was a lot of fun. The hiding and chase moments could have come up more often to reduce downtime. The actors were great, the puzzles were genuinely present and not too hard, and the set ranged from really great to just okay. The story was clear and made sense while playing. Horror fans should give this a try.

School of the Burning Souls was an experience. The setting fits the story, the puzzles range from very easy to some that require a bit of outside-the-box thinking. The actors were great, especially toward the finale, which was really strong. Small inconsistencies, particularly with the hint system, could be improved with little effort. Overall, highly recommended.

The puzzles are deliberately simple and thus ideal as a family-friendly introduction. The audio clips fit well and make the story more tangible. Not a room for a big challenge, but one I wouldn’t want to miss.
