Very challenging with very difficult puzzles—not for beginners. I still had fun, even though the big plot twist didn’t materialize; overall 8 out of 10, service 10 out of 10, interior 7 out of 10, and the difficulty is very high.

Atmosphere immediately cranked to the max: dark, dense, but not gross. The puzzles interlock nicely and rely more on careful observation than on math tricks. Our game master was super attentive and only gave us a nudge when we were really stuck. I’d play again anytime.

Tried it as a duo in Berlin: extremely immersive and refreshingly different from many other rooms. Very carefully built, lots of high-quality hands-on puzzles, and our host Lotte was fantastic. Delightfully absurd and, for us, one of the best rooms.

Just right for two; with more people you’d probably be jostling at the start. The atmosphere is spot-on, most puzzles are fairly easy until shortly before the end when a noticeably harder one appears and breaks the flow. The room wasn’t properly reset twice, but we still solved it; we were given extra time and a partial refund.

There were six of us—four old hands and two newcomers—and it was a clear step above the usual level. Multiple areas in the room, good puzzles, strong set design, and a wonderful finale; we finished just in time and found the story cohesive.

Super attentive support and hints without any time penalty—that really takes the pressure off. The puzzles are varied and fair; we never had to guess. Great value for money.

Great setting, pyramid vibes from the very first step. There were five of us; splitting into two starting teams was a cool twist, and finding each other again was a real aha moment. The finale is fun; we got out with plenty of time to spare.

Our game master was outstanding and contributed a lot to the fun. The set and atmosphere are great; the story is rather classic. Mostly logical and satisfying, but one or two puzzles didn’t feel cleanly clued; one seemed to rely on basic outside knowledge. Overall, lots of fun.

We played Checkpoint Charlie as a team of two. For my first escape room, it was perfect: with a few hints we solved everything, with no time penalty. There’s no debrief at the end, but the props are super authentic. On my next visit to Berlin, I’ll gladly stop by again for another room.

Very fun and not overly complex. Some puzzles were quite obvious, with a few red herrings in between. We wondered whether, with more people, it would have become too easy or rather chaotic. The team was super friendly; we'd definitely try more games here.
