Greece - Crete - at the beginning of the 13th century BC. Here King Minos reigns, the son of the father of the gods, Zeus, and the enchanting Europa. His uncle - the mighty sea god Poseidon - once helped Minos in obtaining the royal throne. However, Minos later cheated the god out of a promised sacrifice - a magnificent bull. In return, Poseidon took revenge and punished Minos' wife Pasiphaë by making her fall in love with this bull. Soon after, she gave birth to Minotaurus - a horrific hybrid creature with a human body and bull's head. Minos left the man-eating beast, which he actually wanted to kill, alive at the request of his daughter Ariadne. He ordered Daedalus – one of the most brilliant inventors of antiquity and father of Icarus – to build an impenetrable labyrinth as a prison for Minotaurus. Here, for years, Minos sacrificed young men and maidens from conquered Athens to Minotaurus. An hour ago, Minotaurus was defeated and slain by Theseus, the son of the king of Attica – who was originally intended as a sacrifice himself. Thanks to the thread of Ariadne you have been able to overcome most of the supposedly unconquerable labyrinth. Now, only a small part of the way to the exit lies in front of you. Solve the riddles and escape the labyrinth. You only have one hour, because the Cretan warriors with King Minos at the forefront are already on their way to get you...
