Go if you’re in the mood for a quirky lab setting with lots to do. The start is really fun—especially for fans of classic combination locks—despite weaknesses in story and tech.

AI Overview

AIMany praise the strong start, then the flow drops noticeably. The story feels thin and at times inconsistent. There were multiple reports of broken or not-reset puzzles and a rather unmotivated gamemaster. Overall, solid ideas but uneven in execution and hosting.
WeaknessesBroken or poorly reset puzzles and effect failures dampen the fun. Very lock-heavy toward the end and a story that’s hard to follow. The gamemaster often felt unmotivated and not very helpful.
StrengthsThe first room is creative and sets the pace. There’s plenty to do and a few fresh twists. Lock fans get plenty of fodder.
SecurityBasically seems safe, no physical risks. The briefing varies in quality; during tech problems, clear communication was sometimes missing.
Level of fearNot scary, more puzzle-heavy. Also suitable for teens, as long as there’s tolerance for tech hiccups.
Actors' gameThere’s virtually no acting; interaction goes through the gamemaster. Several guests report unfriendly, unmotivated hosting and even audible complaints about the language.
Quality of riddlesQuality and fairness vary. The opening offers creative tinkering; later it’s lock upon lock and some broken mechanisms. A not-reset puzzle and effect failures sapped tension and flow.
PlotMad professor theme is there, but the story barely carries and feels arbitrary in places. If you want a clear narrative, you’ll likely be disappointed.
Difficulty levelMedium, with leaps in logic. Beginners could get stuck during outages; experienced players might be annoyed by the lock overkill.

We, game masters ourselves, found the opening fresh and really well done, but after that it turned into a flood of combination locks. The story made no sense, one puzzle was defective, and for minutes there was no response to our calls; instead we got ill-suited hints. The game master seemed unmotivated and unfriendly. Not recommended by us—one of the weakest experiences so far.

The beginning was promising, but the quality dropped off quickly afterward. Some puzzles are good; others don’t work or need better explanations. There wasn’t a proper story, and the host seemed unmotivated.

A main puzzle hadn’t been reset; the code was already open, which killed all the suspense. The game master audibly complained about having to do the introduction in English. The first room itself was fun and there was plenty to do, but the bitter aftertaste remained.

The start really took off: awesome decor, snappy puzzles, and a few genuine aha moments. After that, though, it got very lock-heavy and the story fell by the wayside. We still had fun, albeit with some points off.

The game master seemed tired and annoyed, and the briefing was half-hearted. One mechanism was dead and we waited ages for a response. Unfortunately, that doesn’t really make it fun.

Played with the family: the kids loved tinkering in the first area and it wasn’t scary at all. Later there were leaps in logic and lots of codes, which slowed things down. Overall okay, but not cohesive.

A code was already there—suspense gone. You could also hear the game master complaining because he had to run it in English. Service flop, a total letdown for me.

Creative puzzles, but they often felt far-fetched for the mission. Some effects didn’t work, which caused frustration. Overall okay, but clearly unbalanced.

Some cool ideas, but several effects didn’t trigger and it didn’t feel much like a cohesive mission. We were busy nonetheless. Solidly average.

I didn’t like it; there was no recognizable story and some things simply didn’t work. For me, at best, mediocre.
