About the escape room

Davy Jones? Tot. Jack Sparrow? Weg vom Fenster. Barbossa? Ausradiert.

Hahahaha! (hier bitte ein böses Lachen vorstellen)

AI Overview

AIAlmost everyone raves about the set design, music, and massive immersion; many feel like they’re in Monkey Island. The puzzles are rather easy and very story-driven, which creates a great flow and helps beginners. The live acting is repeatedly praised and clearly carries the scenes. A few complain about too much hand-holding, occasional language barriers with gags, and a bit of a hectic start when multiple groups arrive.
WeaknessesFor puzzle fans it can feel too easy and too guided, sometimes with little time to experiment. Some Easter eggs are only in German and not everyone immediately gets the point-and-click style. The reception can get briefly chaotic.
StrengthsGreat introduction with the Dreampod, lots of wow moments, and a funny, coherent story. Details, props, and effects feel high-quality and are seamlessly embedded in the tasks.
SecurityBriefing and supervision are attentive, tech and sets look excellently maintained. The experience starts already in the foyer, followed by clear, safe guidance through the dream.
Level of fearMore laughs than scares, with a small pinch of creepiness. Good for kids around 11–12 as long as an adult is present.
Actors' gameThe game masters — often praised by name like Ingo, Emma, or Anton — deliver timing, gags, and pace. Interaction is central and fun, but is occasionally described as a bit too directing.
Quality of riddlesLight to moderate and strongly tied to the theme, more adventure logic than classic locks. Those who like to think laterally, combine, and interact with characters will be rewarded. There are a few very original ideas that stick with you.
PlotYou hunt a legendary treasure and try to beat the spirit of the heartless pirate — through harbor, jungle, and deck. The story carries confidently to a theatrical finale, sprinkled with humor and small twists.
Difficulty levelIdeal for beginners, families, and mixed teams; enthusiasts love the staging but find the difficulty somewhat low. Plays especially smoothly with two to four people.

We were a group of four and not hardcore puzzlers, more just curious about the concept. Arrival feels like a futuristic shop for dreams; the Dreampod transitions brilliantly into the pirate world. Inside, Caribbean vibes and Monkey Island charm blend with countless details; feel free to laugh and take your time to marvel. After about 75 minutes we were both euphoric and sad that it was over. First game of the day; a slightly hectic start until the groups were sorted. After that, Dream Labs’ distinctive narrative rhythm kicked in, and the scenery blew us away, including a story moment that topped everything. The puzzles are on the easier side but perfectly woven into the theme, making it incredibly immersive. It felt fresh and impeccably maintained. The frequently cited Top 10 listing

Strong start and great setting, but we felt too guided and were steered along too quickly during the game. After just a few attempts the solution would often appear, leaving little time to puzzle things out; some Easter eggs were only in German. In the end it felt more like a guided theme park experience with few puzzles, whereas Metropolis appealed to us much more.

Probably the most immersive experience so far: set, props, effects, dramaturgy, and music dovetail seamlessly. You often have to think outside the usual patterns, with a good pinch of quirky humor. The team was super attentive; GM Ingo elevated the experience. I had a blast.

After more than 30 rooms, my favorite. It feels like a playable Monkey Island: attention to detail, interaction with objects and characters, humor, and lateral thinking instead of number sequences. An experience that stays with you.

I was skeptical because the immersive rooms seemed too simple, but I was pleasantly surprised. The interactions with the actor are fun; the atmosphere and music are on point, and the humor is top-notch. There are lots of puzzles—not difficult, but very entertaining. The Dreampod idea beforehand is simple and ingenious.

In terms of immersion, the intro from the lobby is the best I’ve ever seen. The game flow is phenomenal, with plenty of wow moments— for me even more cohesive than in Metropolis. Attention to detail everywhere and a great Game Master.

Looks unbelievably good, but solutions were handed to me too quickly, so there was hardly any time to puzzle things out. Some gags were only in German, which was a pity for us. As an experience it’s great; as a puzzle room it was too guided for me.

Even the Dreampod introduction was pure cinema; after that I was practically in Monkey Island. Sets, music, smells—everything was spot on, and the humor landed nonstop. For me, a must-play.

Came in with TERPECA-level expectations—and it fully delivered. From the moment you step in, you’re in the story; Ingo as GM was brilliant and the tone was always warm. The puzzles are simple but just right for a smooth two-player flow. All around fantastic, and I’ve rarely felt so welcome.

From the very first step we were fully immersed: set, sound, and effects are top-tier, plus loving nods for Monkey Island fans. We didn’t even want it to end.

I had sore muscles in my face from laughing. GM Emma made the whole thing even more lively, down to little gag details like the magazines. Lots of wow moments and one of the best-integrated puzzles into a story I've ever seen.

We liked Metropolis a bit more, but this room is convincing as well. Important to know: It plays like a point-and-click à la Monkey Island—lots of exploration, experimentation, and role-play. Great for beginners; the puzzles often emerge naturally from the scene and aren’t too difficult. Humor and attention to detail add to the experience.

Great flow and a fantastic actor, but the puzzles are rather easy and at times quite guided. As an adventure, though, it works fantastically. I’ll gladly come back anyway.
