About the escape room

San Francisco in den 60er Jahren. Das wohl berüchtigtste Hochsicherheitsgefängnis der USA galt als ausbruchsicher. Glaubt man den Erzählungen, so ist es allerdings einem zu Unrecht Verurteilten tatsächlich gelungen, aus seiner Zelle und aus dem Gefängnis zu fliehen. Dieses Gerücht hält sich hartnäckig, wurde aber niemals offiziell bestätigt. Handelt es sich tatsächlich nur um ein Gerücht, oder ist dem Gefangenen die Flucht gelungen? Hat er vielleicht Hinweise in seiner Zelle hinterlassen, die auch anderen Unschuldigen zur Flucht verhelfen können? Nur, wer genau hinsieht und wirklich unschuldig ist, wird aus dem sichersten Gefängnis der damaligen Zeit entfliehen können.

Prison is an often-used theme, but here it's executed cleanly. I especially liked that the puzzles fit logically into the scenario, more improv than special tools. The Game Masters stayed in character and the hint system was on point, including a genuinely funny moment. For large groups there's a Battle Mode that adds extra fun. Clear recommendation.
