About the escape room

Their screams can still be heard today ... The foul smell of decay rises to your nostrils as you make your way through the fog to the Floresti Asylum. The asylum, you are told, was closed in the 1980s. Some patients and the staff have not been seen since, but what happened? Are the rumors surrounding the maniacal Doctor Sterling true? Did he actually perform inhumane experiments on his patients? One thing is for sure, the asylum has not been entered for years, but the screams coming from the building at night make you curious. Do you dare to find out what happened back then?

Brief assessment
from Navigator AI
Ultra-intense horror experience in a cramped asylum setting: phenomenal actors, claustrophobic spaces, and true Silent Hill vibes. If you want adrenaline over a puzzle marathon, this is spot on.

Overview of artificial intelligence

AIMost praise the atmosphere, the tight layout, and the proximity to the actors that keeps constant pressure. Puzzles are light to moderate; the real difficulty comes from fear, haste, and dodging the performers. Set, sound, and lighting feel cinematic; Silent Hill fans will feel right at home. Occasionally there’s slight fog overkill, but overall the reviews are enthusiastic.
WeaknessesA lot of fog can be too much at times. The tight spaces and constant pursuit leave little breathing room; not suitable for claustrophobia. Puzzle fans wanting long tinkering time may find it too easy.
StrengthsPowerful set design, thunderous sound and lighting, and a dense, cinematic mood. Actors deliver intense, physically palpable interactions and keep the tension consistently high. The flow fits, from the opening to the finale.
SecurityTight passages and lots of fog, so mind your own limits; not ideal for claustrophobia. Interactions feel controlled, and nowhere did risky maneuvers seem necessary.
Level of fearVery scary and constantly high-tension, not for kids or the faint-hearted. A feast for horror fans, quickly too much for sensitive players.
Actors' gameThe performers are present, close, and at times acrobatic; they stalk, drive, and chase—without feeling cheap. Interaction feels professionally guided and hugely boosts immersion.
Quality of riddlesLogical and thematically consistent, with a rather moderate challenge. The crux is less solving and more getting to the puzzle while your pulse and pursuers apply pressure. Overall fair, with a clear focus on horror rather than tinkering.
PlotYou explore an abandoned asylum and the legends about Dr. Sterling and his experiments. The story sits atmospherically in the background and casts a dark tone over every encounter.
Difficulty levelPuzzle-wise light to medium and thus doable for beginners, provided you can handle the scares. If you’re after puzzle-heavy rooms, you may feel underchallenged; horror lovers get the full blast.

Currently my favorite horror escape room. For us as horror newbies, just right, and the actors were simply top-notch before, during, and after the game. Puzzles appropriately balanced, the atmosphere consistently frightening. 10/10, a must-do.

Great use of space: while Dark Forest feels open, Asylum is tight and at times claustrophobic. The actors stalk and hunt you, and because nowhere really feels safe, it stays thrilling throughout. A fantastic experience, absolutely worth playing in Germany.

Once you’re in, there’s no escape: tight corridors, spectacular performances, heart racing at 180. Puzzles are fair, but the closeness of the actors makes everything twice as hard. Absolutely recommended.

Atmosphere is top-notch and truly cinematic, but the fog was a bit too much for me at times. Still, a strong experience with a good balance of action and puzzles.

Brutally creepy and, in terms of feel, like Resident Evil or Silent Hill—only live. The puzzles make sense, but getting to them and pushing through is the real challenge because of the fear and the hectic pace.

Very cramped, very loud, very intense. Personally a bit too hectic for me, but it’s very well crafted and the crew is on point.
