AI Overview

AIThe real train and the detailed station setting are the big wow factor and carry coherently through the whole experience. Puzzles are mostly described as easy to moderate and are tightly tied to the theme. Criticism focuses on variety: more frequent number codes and instructions instead of original tricks. The staff are considered very friendly and dedicated.
WeaknessesPuzzles often on the easier side and somewhat number‑heavy, at times more processing than puzzling. A bit more variety and polish would lift the level further.
StrengthsUnique location with a real railcar, powerful soundscape, and an authentic look from entrance to finale. Very smooth intro and thematic embedding, good team dynamics. Friendly staff that lets you feel the passion for the project.
SecurityReviews mention no safety issues; the briefing feels clear and professional. Despite the real train, the setup feels controlled and clean.
Level of fearNo horror and no jump scares; feels family‑friendly. A good choice for sensitive players and newcomers.
Actors' gameNo traditional acting in the room; the focus is on setting and tech. Interaction mainly runs through very attentive game mastering.
Quality of riddlesFair, logical, and close to the theme, often with clear instructions and codes; thus very accessible. Difficulty from easy to moderate, teamwork helps. Experienced groups wish for more variety and finesse.
PlotYou start as train drivers in a BR 490 training at Remscheid‑Süd station, then an unforeseen event intervenes. The goal is to escape the station together, without giving too much away.
Difficulty levelVery accessible for newcomers and mixed teams. Veterans often breeze through and would like trickier peaks.

Even before it starts, it feels like a real station: construction-site vibes outside, a kiosk and graffiti inside, plus strong sound design. The briefing does a great job of onboarding you, and the clear star is the real train you can actually interact with. Our group moved through briskly, and the game master was extremely warm and welcoming; afterwards we even got fascinating insights into how t

Finally a strong theme without any creepiness. Kids could take part, and the set feels like a real train station. Reliable tech, zero frustration.

The room thrives on the real train and a cleanly executed concept—immersive from start to finish. The puzzle depth is solid without ever becoming particularly difficult. Not everything is polished to a high gloss, but a lot of it works—especially the way the train is integrated into the game. An exciting concept that will hopefully catch on.

We had an absolute blast! The balance between atmosphere and puzzles is spot on, and the real train is mind-blowing. Nothing unfair, but you do need to coordinate as a team — it really brought us together. The set feels like a real train station.

Great flow and a super nice game master who later also told us interesting things about how it was created. Fair puzzles, nothing mean, but lots of teamwork required. Just right for our mixed team.

Stands out thanks to the setting with a real train, and the intro is really well-timed. However, I often found the puzzles too simple: lots of combination locks and instructions, few surprises. With a bit more variety, this would be a top-tier room. As it stands, it’s a good but not perfect experience.

Top-notch setting, the train is integrated really well, and the opening scene is fun. Unfortunately, many tasks are just number combinations or step-by-step from a checklist, which slows down creativity. With more puzzle variety, it would be fantastic.

The arrival alone is already cinematic: construction-site vibes, a kiosk, graffiti, plus the sounds of the trains. And then there’s an actual railcar standing there—super immersive. We got through quickly, but with huge grins on our faces. Clear recommendation.

The concept with a real train stands out and sticks in your mind. Solid in terms of content, just a bit too linear here and there. Still very well-rounded.

Another highlight in NRW, this time completely without horror. The venue is styled down to the last detail and consistently carries the theme. Remscheid is definitely worth a visit for this.
