The Patient

Osnabrück, August 25, 1859. Cholera is spreading epidemically in the city and more and more people are getting infected with bacteria. Some are even suffering from so-called nervous fever. Out of necessity, an old dean's house of the church is being converted into a hospital thanks to a generous donation. Three sisters from the Boromäus Order in Trier are prepared to occupy the hospital. The first patient reaches the Marienhospital on August 20. The sisters immediately start treatment, but the patient seems to be incurable after 3 days. He is behaving extremely strangely, repeatedly stressing that the place is haunted. The sisters are overwhelmed with this patient and call for help. A group of science advocates set off to unravel the patient's secret. Will you find out what is happening in the old dean's house?
