Richie's Surprise

You’re invited to Richie Rich’s birthday party. You don’t really know him that well. At school he keeps to himself. But hey, it’s a birthday party and there’s cake, so off you go! When you arrive at Richie’s, you’re amazed. The house is HUUUUGE. You knew his family was rich, but not THAT rich. At the house you’re met not by Richie but by his mother, Regina Rich. She ushers you inside and points to a pair of slippers you must put on. You only hear her murmur the words “antique mosaic” and “dirty little rascals,” then she leads you through the house. You admire the paintings as you pass and somewhere a piano is playing. You catch a glimpse of a cake bigger than you are. Your mouth is already watering. Finally she stops next to a play tower. A play tower in the hallway? Well, I guess that’s something you have when you’re as rich as Richie. Speaking of Richard — you ask Regina where Richie is. “Richie Spatz is still at piano lessons. But you can wait in his playroom. The entrance is up there.” You climb the tower and see the start of a slide. The end disappears into darkness. You look around once more, but something sparks your curiosity and you slide into the adventure....
