About the escape room

Actually, the plan was to explore Mexico City and spend the last days of your USA vacation relaxing before heading back home. But unfortunately, things turn out differently. On your last evening, while you’re having a lively farewell party in the apartment of a young Mexican, you suddenly hear a loud commotion in the stairwell. Moments later, the door bursts open with a crash, and several officers from the Guardia Nacional storm into the apartment, taking both you and the other guests into custody, and begin ransacking the place. The officers pay no attention to your explanations and do not answer any of your questions. You are led away together with the other guests and transported to a location a bit outside the city. You read “Topo Chico” above the entrance of the large gate you pass through, and panic sets in. The toughest prison in Mexico. Usually, only the most dangerous criminals, cartel members, and similar heavyweights are locked up here—but not you! It doesn’t seem like anyone is willing to listen to you, and the looks from the other prisoners are unsettling. It almost seems like you’ll have to get yourselves out of this mess….
