About the escape room

Johann Wilhelm von Goethe, a journalist by trade and the last living descendant of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, has come into possession of a secret document. With the help of this document, he believes he can publish an article that could shake the world and reveal the last secrets about his ancestor. Unfortunately, he stirred up a hornet's nest with his investigations and has been under surveillance for some time. But now the situation appears to be escalating. Wilhelm had to suddenly disappear and leave everything behind to avoid getting caught by his pursuers. Unfortunately, he also had to leave behind the precious document. He sees only one way out. He asks you to retrieve the secret document from his apartment and bring it to him. But the task is not without risk. His pursuers will now also be after you.

A very lovely afternoon with puzzles that build on each other in a meaningful way and are at times quite demanding. With a few subtle hints we were able to unravel Goethe’s secret and escape before time ran out. Exciting right to the end with lots of shared aha moments. Thanks for all the details and the visible effort.
