She’s now made a name for herself as a Monroe double, booked for shows on the Reeperbahn and around the world. But she’s very superstitious and never goes on stage without her talisman. Now the most important performance of her career is about to happen: tonight there are major industry figures in the audience who could give Marylin her own show in Las Vegas. She has to be stage-ready in one hour, but the time before the show has turned into a disaster—her good-luck charm can’t be found, and she won’t set foot on stage without it.
