Die 1914 errichtete Burwash Industrial Farm sorgte im Jahre 1939 für ominöse Schlagzeilen. Das entlegene Gefängnis wurde viele Jahre für Forschungszwecke genutzt und 1975 schließlich stillgelegt. Gerüchte berichten von unmenschlichen Experimenten an den Gefangenen, von unsäglichen Schrecken und Qualen. Am 07. Juli 1939, als der Zweite Weltkrieg in Europa schon in den Schatten lauerte, kam es zu einem fatalen Unglück, das als BURWASH MASSAKER in die kanadische Geschichte einging – und das nur wenige Kilometer von einem der Autohotels MORTEN DELAPORES enfernt. Ein bloßer Zufall?
