Overview of artificial intelligence

AIThe room leans heavily on shifts between light and darkness and asks you to use other senses. The puzzles feel mostly easy to medium and use many classic locks. The gamemaster is praised as very friendly. Darkness can bother some, and one group, playing as three, found a fourth person helpful.
WeaknessesOn the easy side for experienced players. One puzzle adjusted due to hygiene rules briefly caused confusion. Lots of darkness isn’t comfortable for everyone.
StrengthsExceptional black-and-white setting with dense atmosphere and creative sensory tasks. Very nice hosting and a well-rounded experience.
SecurityGood briefing on how to move safely in the dark. Partly in socks, feels well-kept and unproblematic.
Level of fearNo horror, but distinctly dark with sensory disorientation. Doable for kids if they handle darkness and are accompanied.
Actors' gameThe gamemaster is described as super friendly, attentive, and helpful. Live acting in the room is not mentioned.
Quality of riddlesA mix of classic padlocks and combination puzzles with a focus on touch, listening, and intuition. Fairly built, clearly solvable, and generally not too hard. Tame for veterans, spot-on for beginners.
PlotYou travel through a colorless dream world and try to bring the colors back. The story is carried more by atmosphere than by lots of text.
Difficulty levelEasy to medium. Ideal for newcomers, families, and mixed groups; enthusiasts may feel underchallenged.

Played with my parents: lots of fun; they managed almost everything on their own and only needed one clear hint once. For me it would be too easy—perfect as a beginner room for the two of them. Therefore full marks.

Lots of padlocks and codes, but the unusual setup forces you not to trust your first impulse and to use senses other than your eyes. It was really fun.

Very nice concept, cleanly executed. The puzzles aren’t particularly difficult, but the interplay of light and darkness makes the whole thing a powerful experience.

This black-and-white dream world drew us in immediately. Finally, a space where touch and hearing really matter. Great atmosphere, a coherent ending. Highly recommended!

As the name promises: a world of shadows. In one environment you can see well, in another hardly at all. Great to use senses other than just sight for a change.
