A long time ago, when Bonn was still a small village, there lived a brave detective named Karl. Karl was known for his courage and wisdom. One day the famous Karl received a secret message and a mysterious map. It led to an old, enigmatic place — the Old Customs House in Bonn. “Yesterday a treasure of gemstones was stolen,” the message read. The thief fled, but before he could be caught he hid the gemstones in the park by the Old Customs House. The participants who set out to find the treasure must solve Karl’s riddles to locate it. They will need to decipher clues hidden in the park’s old trees and use the cannons as part of their tasks. At the end a secret treasure awaits them. It consists of three sparkling gemstones. But watch out! These stones are inconspicuous at first, but in the right light they begin to shimmer beautifully. The children must find the clues and retrieve the gemstones. This legend ties history to an adventure that challenges the children and is great fun! This is how the children can step into the role of detectives and go on a treasure hunt!
