About the escape room

At our antiquarian bookshop Miraculum, there's always a lot to do. We've just received an anonymous delivery of valuable books, which need to be temporarily stored in the archives. How fitting that you sign up as interns and are brave enough to ride up to the 8th floor, past the mysterious and dangerous departments. Can you make it all the way up?

Important information and features of the escape room

Overview of artificial intelligence

AIMany praise the consistent theme execution and the game master who stays in character. The puzzles feel logical, varied, and partly non-linear; hints arrive elegantly and thematically on point. The room is tiny, about 45 minutes long, and is most fun for two; with more people it quickly gets cramped and warm. Doable for beginners, but more of a treat for experienced players.
WeaknessesExtremely cramped space; with more than two people it quickly feels crowded and warm. Some find the playtime too short, and a few mention one puzzle as not to their taste.
StrengthsHighly immersive staging from briefing to finale, detailed set and clear flow. Friendly team, great intro, and frequently praised value for money.
SecurityThere is a clear briefing, the GM watches attentively and steps in elegantly when needed. The tight space can get warm; small teams are more comfortable.
Level of fearNo horror, more suspense with a slight claustrophobic note. Kids are welcome; better to avoid if you have severe claustrophobia.
Actors' gameThe GM performs convincingly in character, sets the tone, and delivers stylishly integrated hints. The briefing is repeatedly cited as a genuine highlight.
Quality of riddlesMechanical and logical tasks, cleanly integrated into the theme and without tedious searching. Mostly fairly derivable, with a few clever aha moments. Well solvable for small teams and occasionally non-linear.
PlotYou start as interns in an antiquarian bookshop and take the elevator to the upper floor, passing odd departments. A lean yet consistently told story that carries the setting.
Difficulty levelMedium difficulty with a few twists; newcomers may need hints. Experienced players will get their fill, especially in small teams.

Played with two friends from the UK and left thrilled. Not just the room—the whole experience around it feels special. Good puzzles, friendly staff, fair prices—I’ll be back for Phoenix.

Single-room concept perfectly executed, with a few truly unconventional brainteasers. The wood finish and details are nicely done. A bull’s-eye for fans of compact, immersive rooms.

Ideal for two, since space is tight. The puzzles are fairly deducible and neatly integrated into the setting. If you’re claustrophobic, you should think twice—otherwise, a clear recommendation.

An elevator, as advertised: small, but full of surprises and lots of puzzles. I love hidden extra rooms, but this one-room concept is really fun. One puzzle didn’t quite click for us; otherwise short and snappy—recommended for a short break.

Went there yesterday with two friends and I’m still grinning. So much fun in one hour; we managed it with a few small hints. Super friendly team, cool atmosphere – absolute recommendation!
