Bitte sei am Tag deiner Bestellung pünktlich bei uns vor Ort an der Tür, dort wirst du abgeholt. Du brauchst nicht anzurufen, wenn du da bist. Da wir dich aufgrund unseres Konzepts erst pünktlich zur gebuchten Uhrzeit reinlassen können, kann es sein, dass ihr bei Wind und Wetter kurz vor der Tür warten müsst. Habt bitte wetterfeste Kleidung an oder gegebenenfalls einen Regenschirm mit. Mit Einlass beginnt direkt euer Erlebnis und ein Toilettengang ist nur noch in Notfällen möglich. Bitte versucht also vorher auf Toilette zu gehen - eventuell auch in den umliegenden Restaurants.

AIThe set design with sound, lighting, and even scents is universally praised, as is the introduction that catapults many straight into the story. The puzzles feel coherent and mostly fair, but skew light to medium and include a noticeable amount of searching. The finale divides opinions a bit: from “wow” to “could have been more.” Game Masters are described as great overall, with rare outliers and occasional technical hiccups.

WeaknessesSeveral voices find the search factor too high and the difficulty rather low, at times also too short. There were isolated technical issues and one instance where the GM couldn’t explain a puzzle. The ending feels a bit anticlimactic for some.

StrengthsSet and effects are top-notch, creating a very dense, cinematic atmosphere. The story integration of the tasks and the in-character opening are outstanding. Lots of love for detail, evident in props, sound, and scent.

SecurityBriefing and supervision feel professional, hints are dosed as needed. There are dark sections; there’s little info on accessibility, and one guest missed an elevator.

Level of fearDark, lightly creepy, with a few jump scares—but not hardcore horror. With preparation, it also suits teens from around 12.

Actors' gameThe hosts stay in character, start strong, and guide attentively through the experience; that goes down really well. Only rarely was there criticism of inappropriate or unclear hints.

Quality of riddlesMostly logical, cleanly embedded in the story and technically well executed, leaning light to medium. If you don’t like searching, you might stumble over that, as it appears more often. One dexterity element frustrated some guests and, according to one feedback, is being replaced.

PlotFamiliar Frankenstein setting with a strong opening and clear guidance through the second creation. The narrative carries, but the ending lands either as a big finale or rather restrained, depending on the group.

As the first stop on our tour of Germany, Frankenstein set the bar high. The atmosphere and effects are impressive, and the attention to detail is palpable everywhere. The ending felt a bit unspectacular to us, but it hardly diminished the fun. Overall, highly recommended.

Played with a 12-year-old: dark and spooky, but manageable because it’s well told and explained. The GM resolved the lingering story question very well after the game. Puzzles are on the easier side, but very cohesive.

This room has so much potential, but in the end we spent too much time searching in the dark instead of cracking exciting puzzles. The set design is beautiful, which makes it doubly a shame. Overall still good, but with room for improvement.
