The Search for the Lost Welcome Money

November 1989 Henry and Micha are sitting in their regular pub in East Berlin when the unthinkable happens: the Wall is opened. In the hours and days that follow, the two of them take advantage of the chaos and procure a huge pile of welcome money. To give themselves and their families a better life — and to avoid going to prison — they devise a complex puzzle and hide the loot. It must be secure from the Stasi and customs, yet simple enough for the family to solve and get to the money. A narrow line to walk, little time, and freedom without borders in sight — the two set out to put their plan into action.
