Jonas Mayer

Jonas Meyer was shot dead in his upscale beach bar "Miami Tiki Club". Another co-owner of the club, Rocky Mendson, managed to escape with two gunshot wounds. However, Horatio discovers inconsistencies in Rocky's statement and suspects that he may have murdered his partner and then shot himself to divert suspicion. However, the examination of the gunshot wound reveals that the shots were fired from at least a meter away, and thus Rocky is ruled out as the perpetrator. Horatio is at a dead end.
