My first escape room; there were four of us on a company outing. Even though we didn’t complete it, we had a great time. Lovingly decorated, lots of great puzzles, and a game master who provided well-calibrated hints. Maybe not the best choice for absolute beginners; 4-5 players is optimal.

John’s Secret is designed with great attention to detail. The puzzles are challenging but fair, and the gamemaster tailors the hints perfectly to the group. We had a lot of fun and will definitely be back — a clear recommendation.

Just right for our team event: fair but not trivial. Hints were doled out sparingly and in a friendly manner. No scares, but loads of atmosphere. A few small surprises would have added even more wow; still, very good.

Fantastic vibe, great music, and a room that's bigger than you'd think. The puzzles fit together nicely, and the gamemaster knew exactly when to step back. For us, an absolute highlight in Cologne.
